Updated April 12, 2023: Masks are required for both indoor and outdoor services regardless of COVID-19 vaccination. Please wear a N95 or KN95 with earloops not around the head, or double mask your surgical masks. Proof of up-to-date vaccination required for indoor services. Carter will be wearing a N95 and there are no other stylists or clients in the salon.

Before your appointment, both you and I will:

- Take our temperatures and check ourselves for symptoms of any respiratory viruses (cold, flu, covid, etc.). If either of us have any symptoms, a temperature above 100.4, or have been in close contact with someone with symptoms in the last 3 days, we will contact each other and reschedule. 

- If you are wanting to do a major style or color change, Schedule a virtual 15 minute consultation in advance of your service, so that we can discuss your hair goals and schedule the appropriate amount of time for your service.

- If this is your first visit with Carter, you have curly/wavy texture hair and/or you would prefer to have your entire service done outdoors on the patio and not go into the studio for a shampoo, please come with freshly shampooed and air dried hair. Depending on your hair texture and service, we may do most or all of your haircut dry.

- Consider bringing your own beverage with a straw, so that if you need to sip something, you can do so without removing your mask.

Payments for Service:

- I welcome payments by cash and check. I also have a contactless credit card checkout option.

- Another contactless payment option is to use or purchase a gift certificate and then redeem it at your service.
