Safety Policy: Well-fitting masks and proof of COVID vaccination are required for all services. If you, or someone you have had close contact with, has had ANY cold, flu or covid symptoms within the 3 days prior to your appointment, reschedule promptly. If you would like to have your hair service done outdoors, please let me know in your booking message that you would like to be seen on the outdoor Patio Salon ($20 charge added at checkout to cover patio salon set-up time).

Cancellation Policy: Cancelling or rescheduling as soon as you know you need to is appreciated! You can cancel here up until 24 hours before your appointment. If, for any reason, you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hrs of your scheduled appointment time, email carter directly here as you will be responsible for paying the full cost of your service.

Waitlist and Rescheduling: If you would prefer to be seen sooner, or on a different day or time than your currently scheduled service, you may change your appointment or add yourself to the online waitlist, which ensures that you will be notified immediately if an opening comes up one of your preferred dates.

  • The online waitlist allows you to select ALL of your preferred dates and time frames on Carter’s calendar, in groups of five dates at a time, and you are encouraged to do this to improve your chances of getting an appointment on a day that works well for you! You will only be notified about openings for dates that you have selected to be waitlisted for. This automation allows clients the fastest way to reschedule and be seen sooner and allows Carter more time to care for your hair!

  • Please refer to the 30 second video at the bottom of this page for a demonstration on how to add yourself to the waitlist for multiple dates at a time. Note how you will click “Book Now” and select a service and date. While it may at first say that Carter is booked that day, scroll down to click the “Add to Waitlist” button to be added to that specific date’s waitlist, repeat for the rest of your preferred dates and time frames.

  • If you typically book while in the salon with Carter during your appointments and haven’t used online booking before, you can always access your client profile and appointment information by using the email address where you receive your appointment notifications and requesting a password at the link below. Waitlist and rescheduling requests cannot be made via email or phone.

  • When you get an email notice announcing a waitlist opening, but when you go to book the space it is no longer available, that means another client who was also on that waitlist date and received a notice booked it first. May the odds be ever in your favor!
